Peterson Waterbrook 2017 I am enjoying this book so much already that I decided to go ahead a write a few lines about it. Eugene Peterson is hardly a new name to many people, but for me, we are just getting acquainted. And I’ve found that this book is a treasure, maybe even a classic. Time will decide that. I hope the parishioners he served over the years will find it so. This is a compilation of his sermons arranged in seven sets of seven centered around seven key figures of the Bible from Moses to John of Patmos. The lives and times of those individuals will also take the reader through the timeline of the Bible and a lot if its text. His sermons are not long or tedious.
